DHRTC is initiating a new research programme about CO2 storage with a vision to develop cost effective and low risk CO2 storage, tailored for offshore Denmark.

DHRTC finalized a CO2 storage State-of-the-Art study in early 2021, identifying knowledge and technology gaps. This gap analysis has been the starting point for defining the scope of the new research programme.

An introduction to the programme frame and scope is available in this presentation: CO2 storage research programme

DHRTC is looking for creative and novel research proposals for the new programme. The call for project proposals was kicked off with an Ideation Workshop on June 22nd, where the focus was on creating an understanding of the frame for the project call and generation of cross-disciplinary and novel research ideas.
