FarmConners

Dear Wind Farm Control enthusiasts

We are proud to announce the launch of the FarmConners Wind Farm Control benchmark for code comparison!

The benchmark provides common test cases to demonstrate the potential benefits of wind farm flow control, such as increased power production and mitigation of loads. It builds on available data sets from previous and ongoing campaigns: synthetic data from high-fidelity simulations, measurements from wind tunnel experiments, and field data from a real wind farm –  all interested parties are welcome to participate!

The description of the benchmark, including a demonstration on how to participate and access the data will be presented in FarmConners WFC benchmark launch webinar on June 12 at 13:00. The webinar will be recorded and publicly shared on windfarmcontrol.info.

Looking forward to see many of you there!

Feel free to share it in any platform you see fit. We will forward it to the mailing list of the Amsterdam workshop participants, for starters. Will also generate a LinkedIn post on the FarmConners account.

The FarmConners project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 857844
